My name is William E. Caldwell (Bill). I've always loved photography. I can remember being at my Aunt's house going through catalogs like Sears, and JC Penny, and wondering, "How do they take that photograph?" Even when it was just the hands of a person modeling a watch or a ring, I wondered, "How did they get the picture so clear and close up." I tried to get the same results with my old school Kodak 134 but couldn't get the shot just like them.

Well, I've reached a point in my life where I want to do something about it. Someone once told me, "Bill, Early in your life you do what you have to do. But you reach a point that you do what you want to do." So, I thought I would do what I want to do and get my portfolio up and running.

Slow'n Things Down is a page I've devoted to capturing action at specific points in time. If you really think about it, when you capture an action shot, that precise shot is gone forever. The waves, a duck chasing another duck, a bird flying overhead; although you may take a similar picture, it will never mirror the first picture you took.

And Sunsets are at the total opposite end of the spectrum. Nothing like relaxing at the end of the day with someone you care about, watching the sun set; and, sometimes, it is nice just to go and experience a sunset alone.

I hope you can find interest in the pictures I have taken. Take look around and enjoy the pictures. I hope  you find something you like too. :o)

I will be adding pictures in the coming days so stay tuned!!

No picture in my portfolio may be copied or used in any way without written permission by me!
